The Chongqing facility of Simplo Technology has recently obtained the UL 2799 Zero Landfill Platinum-level re-certification, achieving a 100% waste conversion rate and demonstrating its commitment to environmental protection through green manufacturing initiatives.
The UL 2799 certification emphasizes comprehensive management and quantitative tracking of enterprise waste disposal processes. Companies must divert over 90% of their waste from landfills, implementing full-process management mechanisms including source reduction, waste classification, reuse, recycling, and energy recovery. Certification levels are based on the percentage of waste diverted: Silver (90%–94%), Gold (95%–99%), and Platinum (100%).
This achievement marks Simplo Technology’s attainment of the highest Platinum-level recognition (100% waste conversion rate). Looking forward, the company will continue to advance circular economy practices through technological innovation and refined management.
